I found some information out on the emergency brake cable for the UD60 setup.

You can see the different lengths of cables, the dirty brake cables are the stock cables at 78”. P/n 52059891AM

The outer one to left in the picture is 12” longer then stock at 90”. p/n 68002669AD

The outer one to the right is 22” longer then stock at 98”. p/n56052970AE

On the Jeep the emergency brake lever is centered in the vehicle.

Ud60 recommends using emergency brake cables from a 1500 dodge.

the 1500 Dodge that they took these out of has a foot emergency brake that is on one side of the truck so making the need for one cable to be longer than the other.

look at the two pictures that I took of the rear of Jeep with the cables hanging out the side, the 90 inch cable is plenty long enough for my set up.

Note: maybe other set ups might need the 98” long cable but that would need two of the 98” cables not one each of 98 & 90.

That’s my thoughts
I’m gonna order The second of the p/n ending with 2669 cable and set my rig up with that, just sharing my thoughts and findings with the group.

	Nice Little Jeep

So I ordered a Mopar J8 master cylinder and booster combo last September and the ship date has continuously been pushed back due to national back order. I just got another notice last week that the new ship date is now July 6th.. F-me! My guess is it may actually go longer than July as this is the forth shipping notice extension I’ve received now.
I got a whole new braking system sitting here in my living room (yes my life loves that) waiting for the booster and master upgrade. Is there an alternative to the J8 combo for the JK that will give me the same increase in pedal pressure?

Currently have the RT Offroad/Crown big brake kit with dual piston calipers and JL Rubicon HD rear kit waiting to go in.

So I know there is plenty of experience out there with this group in regard to JK long arm “kits”. I know many are moving on to triangulated 4 links rears and 3 link fronts etc. from the likes of Genright and Motobilt etc., along with people trying different joints from any different manufacturers. What are peoples experiences with some of the regular “market” long arms “kits” like EVO high clearance, Rock Krawler, Clayton, Hepta (doubt any experience) or Metalcloak etc.?

Right now after purchasing axles and other associated supporting mods, I dont really want to drop another 10+K into a custom long arm setup referenced above that many are doing. A 3K off the shelf long arm kit however is doable, but is it really worth it….

Any debate, feedback and experiences with these “kits” would be beneficial to both myself and any others that may be moving to that next level.

Thanks in advance for peoples input, feedback, thoughts and recommendations.

I bought two Odyssey AGM batteries in 2018. One died within two years. Amazon replaced it, thankfully. The second one just died, just short of four years out. A little disappointed given the “premium” quality of the Odyssey. After getting the runaround from Amazon trying to warranty it (supposedly 4 years), I just picked up an AGM from the local O’reillys. A hundred bucks cheaper. We’ll see how it goes!🤞🏻

I just seen that PRP has a brand new adapter fro mounting rear buckets, or a smaller bench seat like a UTV has. https://www.prpseats.com/product/rear-seat-bench-mount-for-jeep-wrangler-jku-and-jlu/?utm_campaign=Jeep JKU and JLU Rear Mounts&utm_medium=email&_hsmi=256730065&_hsenc=p2ANqtz-9_nT8X1i3YOq-IzCx7lgpEQqV0vN3KLBWOq4XeYkB6YxAUEmJPicfGw-6ICNiCXk8Bbvh6RBbv-gphz7F_ntkMmCSPDA&utm_content=256730065&utm_source=hs_email

Well I went to get in the Jeep earlier this week and the battery was dead. I scratched my head, put it back on the tender and today went to drive it. Got in and the Jeep has bad miss and check engine light as soon as it fires up. I guess I’ll add new injectors to my list that includes new spark plugs and a new water pump. LOL / SMH

I know…very exciting asking about oil pressure. Riddle me this, why at idle is my oil pressure showing as anywhere from 80 to 105 psi (yes you read that correctly) and at 3K rpm 55 psi.

Do for some context, had some issues in Sand Hollow with a dipstick tube(it somehow cracked at the housing ), oil pressure warning lights, suddenly excessive smoke at steep angles I never had before. Drives fine though. Wild ass guess how much oil is actually in the engine given I don’t have a dipstick now and merely a bolt RTV’d into the block.

little concerned to drive it with pressure being all wonky. Just oil pressure sensor switch going bad? No codes. Nothing.

So last week I had this code come up after ran the Jeep pretty hard. It is for engine oil pressure circuit. No low oil pressure light.
I thought might need to change oil and it would go away….. wrong.

if I clear the code it’s fine until the next start up.

Anybody else experience this? According to Google it’s fairly common issue and replacing the sensor doesn’t sound like fun.

	Future configuration:

front springs, SPR25-12-250 top both sides, SPR-14-300 bottom drive side, SPR-14-350 bottom passenger side.

rear springs, SPR25-12-250 top both sides, SPR25-12-300 driver side, SPR-12- 350 passenger side.

The increase spring rate on the passenger side helps with the increase weight of the fuel tank, battery and accessories (refrigerator and on my jeep the point load of the spare tire is on the passenger side).

I would like to hear some input and questions.

To recover or replace, that is the question

	Dear Abby,

Alright, I know some of you have gone down this road and realize this is kind of a rabbit hole. I'm just seeing if anyone has advice that pushes me one way or another.

I have been cleaning and doing a few small things since we got back, but mostly been working my ass off moving a bunch of cars. I started cleaning the interior and it's getting to the point where my driver's seat is pretty worn out and ripping at the seams. The foam is a little broken down too.

In looking at recovering it, we have a guy that does upholstery work here who recommended a company that has replacement cloth or leather and he would install it and bolster up the foam for a case of beer. It looks like I would be in somewhere around $1000-$1300 depending on material that I want. He seems to do good work and it can't be worse than what it is now.

Other option: I have been on the PRP site a few times in the last few weeks. My eyes are on the Enduro Elite or the Enduro recliner. Seems like they would be easy enough for entry and exit for daily, I sat in Jeff's PRP's in Utah and was comfortable. I'm definitely looking at something with a little less bolstering. I also am considering the Mastercrafts (have had a chance to sit in the exact model I would buy.)

	Pros and cons:

Recover: cheaper, know what i have, no extra headaches. On the downside it's just exactly like what I have right now.

PRP: Really comfortable. Ability to run a harness when I ever decide that I'm done driving this thing so much, but can run normal belt until then. Can move to just one bucket in the back or none if the mood strikes.

Cons: definitely more money, have to figure out airbag and seatbelt light canceling (lights on the dash piss me right off).

 Sincerely

	Seatless in Seattle.
